Hi Godspeed

Currently we support the IMX678 sensor on Regulus.

Looking at your requirement of 4K 60fps (3840 x 2160 @60fps), this should be well within what the IMX678 can deliver, so we believe your MIPI use case is feasible with the IMX678.

Regarding sensors other than the ones we support, we can assist with the porting process, but the porting itself would need to be handled on the customer side.

If you have any questions or comments, please let me know.

Best regards,

Hello Sir

Good day

As you know, in the Regulus EVK, the image input is via USB, not MIPI. Please share the firmware for IMX678 with MIPI support, and provide instructions on how to configure the input for MIPI.

Thanks.

Godspeed

Hi godspeed,

For MIPI camera input with the IMX678 sensor, please refer to the reference code available at the link below:

This example demonstrates a MIPI camera input pipeline (1 MIPI camera → NPU inference → HDMI out).

The README page in the repository covers everything you need, including how to build (compile) the source with the cross-toolchain and how to run the demo on the board, so please refer to it for the detailed steps.

If you have any questions or comments, please let me know.

Best regards,
